Social Security Announces 1.7 Percent Benefit Increase for 2015

Monthly Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits for nearly 64 million Americans will increase 1.7 percent in 2015, the Social Security Administration announced today.

Missouri Minimum Wage Increase Effective January 1, 2014

We would like to remind employers that effective January 1, 2014 the minimum wage in Missouri will be increased from $7.35 to $7.50 an hour.

Employers engaged in retail or service businesses whose annual gross income is less than $500,000 are not required to pay the state minimum wage rate. Employers not subject to the minimum wage law can pay employees wages of their choosing.
